Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have rescheduled all of their European gigs postponed due to his “vocal issues. ”Following last week’s announcement of rescheduling dates for performances in Marseille, France, and Prague, Czech Republic, Springsteen and his band have now announced the revised dates for his two Milan appearances. Milan concerts, previously slated for June 1 and 3, will now occur on June 30 and July 3 in 2025. Milan’s San Siro Stadium will host the events. As previously announced, the Marseille and Prague performances on May 25 and 28 have been moved to May 31 and June 15, 2025.
About Springsteen’s “Vocal Issues”
Springsteen’s voice issues surfaced following his May 22 E Street Band gig in Sunderland, England. The Boss’ voice was hoarse during London’s 2024 Ivor Awards on May 23. Paul McCartney awarded the Boss The Ivors Academy Fellowship. Springsteen received the inaugural Ivors Fellowship for an international songwriter. Springsteen announced the show postponements on May 26: “further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days.”
Plans for Springsteen’s Tour
On Wednesday, June 12, Springsteen and the E Street Band will continue their 2024 tour in Madrid, Spain. As previously announced, Springsteen and the E Street Band’s European tour concludes at Wembley Stadium on July 27. The Boss and his band will perform a second 2024 U.S. leg later this summer.
