Gene Simmons surprised fans on Sunday, June 9, at a Chevy Metal event, the cover band co-founded by late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2013.Simmons joined Chevy Metal late in their concert at The Canyon in Agoura Hills, California. The 74-year-old Rock & Roll Hall of Famer played “Deuce. ”Chevy Metal’s current roster includes bassist/guitarist Wiley Hodgden, who co-founded the band with Taylor Hawkins, singer/guitarist Brent Woods, and Shane Hawkins, 17, on drums. Woods plays in Simmons’ solo band.
