Marilyn Manson signs record deal, teases comeback

Marilyn Manson inked a record contract with Nuclear Blast and is preparing to release his first new music since sexual assault charges ended his career. The controversial shock rocker posted a one-minute music clip on social media. Nuclear Blast also published the excerpt, with a spokesman telling Rolling Stone that the label signed Manson. The footage shows Manson muttering, “Keep sleeping/ I’ll make you dream of me.” The song title is unknown.

In February 2021, Manson’s ex-fiancée Evan Rachel Wood said, “He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years.” Over a dozen women made fresh claims. After Game of Thrones actress Esmé Bianco sued Manson, he settled. Manson will be tried in 2025 over claims made by his former aide Ashley Waters. Manson was sacked from Loma Vista Recordings after the charges. His latest studio album is 2020’s We Are Chaos.

In addition to the album contract, Manson announced his first tour since 2019. He will support Five Finger Death Punch and headline certain North American shows this summer. Below is Manson’s latest song sample.
