Paul McCartney May Be Offended By David Gilmour’s Beatles Doc Comments

David Gilmour of Pink Floyd discussed The Beatles’ 2021 documentary series ‘Get Back’ with Uncut. He was astonished Paul McCartney released it.‘Get Back’ revealed The Beatles’ January 1969 recording sessions, including their farewell performance on Apple headquarters’ roof in London. ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ docuseries director Peter Jackson received unused material. It portrayed happy band collaboration and problems like George Harrison leaving. Paul McCartney seemingly led the sessions. Despite enjoying it, the Pink Floyd singer couldn’t comprehend how McCartney ‘allowed it.’ As he explained: Paul being dominant, John [Lennon] ducking back due to the occasion, and George [Harrison] leaving and returning. Truly terrible. We like watching, but I’m shocked Paul permitted it.”

Ringo Starr on Documentaries
Disney+ will air another Beatles documentary, ‘Let It Be,’ next week. Over time, the restored 1970 picture has become rare. Many bootleg versions were released, but today it will be streamed for the first time. The documentary has ‘not a lot of joy’, according to Ringo Starr. Like ‘Get Back,’ this documentary features their rooftop show. The concert ended their band career. Starr discussed the repaired documentary with the Associated Press. He said: I believe Peter Jackson did well. Not fun for me. The filmmaker chose his perspective. We uncovered 56 hours of unused tape that Peter Jackson poured his heart into and it works well. You’ll see us on the roof again, which is great.”The film opens May 8. The film’s trailer is below.
